UPDATE: Hendrick Motorsports will hold a news conference at the press conference room in the Daytona International Speedway infield media center in Daytona Beach, FL on Friday, July 4 at 12:30pm/et to announce future plans for its #5 Chevrolet team. Can't wait to see who gets the ride. Wonder if it really will be Mark Martin or if Smoke may get it.

i really think mark will get the ride, the only question is part or full time. i would love to see him get one more chance at the cup but he seems happy running a part time schedule.

I have never been Martin fan but I think this is a poor decision by hendrick. I would put a young driver in full time and tell him not to worry about his ride for at least a year. Martin has had his chance over and over. It is time to retire like he said a couple of years ago when he made all that money of his retirment cars.

i agree, i love mark martin, but he need to retire. i'm kinda glad casey got out of hendrick just hope he can find a ride somewhere else
